tons of raw material comes from various sources into ware houses and gets distributed to factories. on the way to become a product a lot of such raw material is either cut off, left over or rejected. the numbers about the percentage of rejected raw-mat vary greatly depending on material, product and industry. in the wood industry cut off is between 30-50% of the raw-mat. this figures where the starting point for this lab. we saw the great potential to create a formula to transfer such material from basket bins back to factory facility and subsequently into the market.
